February 9-12 – Texas Music Educators Association Clinic/Convention, San Antonio. Serving on the clarinet
adjudication panel for chair placement in the All-State Band and Orchestra.

February 16 – TCU preview recital by Trio Con Brio of the world premiere of Trio for clarinet, viola, and piano by
Eric Ewazen. Trio Con Brio is comprised of Gary Whitman, clarinet, Misha Galaganov, viola, and John Owings,
piano.

February 25 – Masterclass/Performance by Trio Con Brio at The Julliard School of Music, New York City. The
featured work will be Trio for clarinet, viola, and piano by Eric Ewazen of the Julliard faculty.

February 27 – Recital performance at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY. Trio Con Brio will perform Trio for
clarinet, viola, and piano-Eric Ewazen and “Kleines Koonzert” – Alfred Uhl

March 1 – Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, 8:00 p.m. Artist faculty members in a concert of world premieres by
composers Eric Ewazen:  Trio for Clarinet, Viola and Piano and Samuel Zyman:  “Search” for Violin, Cello and
Piano. Other works by Ravel and Uhl will be featured.

March 2-7 – Tour of Belgium. Masterclasses/Performances on clarinet and saxophone at the Stedelijk
Conservatory in Ostend, Belgium and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Ghent, Belgium.

March 2 – Clarinet masterclass at TCU by Andrew Crisanti, Principal Clarinet of the Fort Worth Symphony
Orchestra.

April 7 – Clarinet masterclass at TCU by James Campbell, Professor of Clarinet at Indiana University,

June 27-28 – TCU Summer Clarinet Workshop – Features Andrew Crisanti, Principal Clarinet, Fort Worth
Symphony, and Gary Whitman, TCU Professor of Clarinet in a two day workshop of masterclasses and
performances for clarinetists of all levels. Also featured is representatives Don Reynolds and Francois Kloc from
The Music Group, Buffet clarinets.
